Just An Update
Sunday, March 26, 2006
Wow! I've been gone for a month and a week! Lazy much? Guilty as charged! Part of the reason why I haven't blogged is because of my Internet Service Provider. Because my blog address has an underscore, it is deemed an illegal website by my ISP! Hence, I can't view my site and therefore, lost the drive to blog because I couldn't see any output.

But I'm here now to update. Gosh! Where do I begin?

Let's see, first, there's work.

There was a time that work was hectic. One of our outlets isnt doing as well and so I had to come up with promos. Another 'hectic' part is organizing two events for the week after Holy Week in Boracay. This included coming up with a budget with minimized costs, booking artists (piece of cake as I'm bringing 3 of our in house bands for free-- meaning, they're not charging for talent fees for as long as we take care of their air and land transportation, accomodations and food), booking flights for 21 people (believe me it's not easy keeping a booking when you're going for the discount rate and have to pay 105k worth of tickets within 3 days!). Also, most of our exclusivity contracts will end this April so lots of negotiations are going on.

Next, there's the lurve life.

Things are still doing great with A. We don't fight as much simply because my Lenten sacrifice is NOT TO FIGHT WITH A! Hahahahahahaha!!! He feels great about that and claims he feels "free-er." Although, unfortunately, because of work, we don't see each other as much.

Then, there's family.

Just recently, my family was complete again. My stepmom decided to take the opportunity to have our family portraits and individual portraits taken for our new house. The final products? Drumroll, please!

Here's our "serious", maldita, telenovela shot:

Top row: Enzo, Cami, Ara

Middle row: Me, Dad, Mom

Bottom row: Judo with Chewy, Don and Xavier

Here's one of our fun and wacky poses:

And here's my favorite individual shot:

Shinampoo ko lang yan!

Meanwhile, my sister Cami, my stepmom and I went through a life altering step in our lives. Well, not really life altering, but more of a change physically. Cami, who is going through her punk- emo kid phase, dyed her bangs and the front part of her hair burgundy.. it's a cross between hot pink and red, actually and looks great on her! My stepmom finally got her first botox injects because she claims her crow's feet (those wrinkles at the corner of our eyes) don't help her land commercials anymore. And as for me, well, that's a different blog entry all together. And I'll show you pictures once I've got them!

Lastly, there's the personal life.

Thanks to Kylie, Ipod Video and shows like Veronica Mars and One Tree Hill which have killer soundtracks, I listen to music more! Unfortunately, I'm still bad at listening to lyrics, meaning, when I hear a song, I don't hear the lyrics but the melody.

Recently, I found books by one of my favorite authors, Linda Howard, for sale on Ebay Philippines! I was so excited that I bought 8 books, which I don't see in National Bookstore, for P1,450! Speaking of books, I also went to the Powerbooks Warehouse sale. I didn't see the books I thought would be on sale though. As I was about to leave, I saw this woman carrying Rachel's Ray 365 meals: No repeats. I want one!!! I'm not a cook but someday, I know her 30 minute meals would come in handy!

And lastly, there's that thing I did physically which I said I'll blog about. Hint: I crossed it off my wish list!
